At northpoint we aim to integrate these functions into a kitchen design by collaborating closely with our clients in order to design a kitchen that works for their particular situation. We do this by understanding the individual requirements clients have of their space. Each project is carefully designed and built to order. Our Classic Panel & Minim ranges are totally bespoke and made locally, allowing maximum flexibility of form and function. Our German built modular ranges from Schüller and next125 come in a wide range of standard widths and heights.
We usually start with a comprehensive design meeting in the showroom, assuming you have plans of your space. Otherwise, we can do a site survey first. In the design meeting we find out what you want from your new kitchen space and create an initial layout. We determine what appliances you would like to fit in and what finishes on the doors and worktop you like.
Plans and a quotation are prepared for review at a second meeting. Further refinements can be made to the layout and finishes to arrive at a final design. Depending on the scope and complexity of your project, this may take multiple design meetings.
A site survey is then carried out and any revisions made to the layout before sign off, deposit payment and the order being placed. Electrical & plumbing plans are prepared for the building contractor.
The kitchen is then put into production at our workshop for the bespoke ranges or in Germany for Schüller and next125 cabinets. Lead times are 6-10 weeks, depending on your particular cabinetry choices.
Installation of a kitchen will generally take a working week with countertop templating carried out on day five. Depending on your choice of material, countertop installation is carried out a week / 10 days later. Once the worktops are fitted, final electrical and plumbing work can be completed and you will have a finished kitchen.
